Continuing my love for robotics, I aim to help high school students expand their interests in engineering. I currently mentor two teams: one locally in Charlottesville, Virginia and one virtually in Norfolk, Virginia.

Posse Foundation

After three interviews, I was selected to be a Posse Scholar at the University of Virginia in December 2022 along with nine other scholars in my cohort. My Posse and I underwent six months of Pre-Collegiate Training (PCT) to prepare and support ourselves for college as "outstanding young leaders from diverse backgrounds".

During my First Year, I wanted to pick up another extracurricular in addition to Solar Car. I joined WUVA to build on my passions of photography and videography from high school. Now, I work at the IT Director who oversees the organization's equipment and server.

The unique opportunity to join the only FRC team in Norfolk, Virginia allowed me to exponentially  grow my passion of engineering and leadership. I quickly became an essential member of the team, first becoming Safety Captain, then Mechanical Vice-Captain, to Team Captain & Mechanical Co-Captain.

Audio-Visual Team Lead, Music Ministry

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I began to assist in livestreams for those who could not go to church in person. Over the years, the team has expanded and I took part in upgrading the complex livestream and sound system we have today. During breaks, I assist in maintaining the system and training new members.

MATE ROV Robotics Team at the Academy at Rosemont

During my senior year of high school, I became involved in the Academy at Rosemont's rookie team competing in MATE ROV, a water-based robotics competition. I applied my engineering skills from FRC to teach middle school students about the process from idea to physicality.
